Cliffs, Rope Swings and Diving
Around the quarry stand high cliffs. These became the main attraction for thrill-seekers: jumping from height and from rope swings. Locals mention heights of up to 52 ft (16 m) at some points.
For divers, this is one of the best sites in the region: underwater — flooded cliffs with granite spirals, platforms and drop-offs. In winter visibility reaches its peak.
Fish Visible Through Clear Water
The quarry is excellent for fishing according to locals. The transparency means fish schools are visible directly from the surface. Perch, catfish and carp are found here.
